Carlos Yasik video@masfusion.com Filmmaker Video enthusiast since I was 13. I started by editing the old fashion way: from VCR to VCR.

I won the first prize by producing a short film for a highschool contest. From that time on, I met some friends who would invited me later to work for MasFusión.

Then I got into a degree in Communication Sciences at the Tec de Monterrey Campus Guadalajara. I liked graphic design, web programming, video, film and radio. My favorite subjects were art, photography and semiotics. I won a design competition where I got three logos for competition, the three proposals got the first, second and third place.

After finishing college 3 ex-colleagues and I got together to create a print magazine. We only printed five issues. Then I did a web society magazine on video: estamosenvideo.com. First site of its kind in Mexico and Latin America. For 4 years I attended events, interviewing, recording and editing.

Later on, I worked for a music label to produce and direct video clips. Then I worked for individual projects as a freelance corporate video producer. Time passed by and I was officially invited to work at mas Fusion, where ideas I have always had since childhood have made real one at a time. From producing television projects, short movies and feature films. In my spare time I compose instrumental music for film soundtracks.

On the other hand, I also do direction, production and post production of music videos for national bands. In short, I am a filmmaker, musician, producer and visual designer.
